Privacy policy
This website
This website has no sign-up forms, no analytics, no advertising trackers and sets no cookies. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and protect the site. The pages load the Inter and Orbitron fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google a request, including your IP address, when a page opens.
The TruePlumb Snap app
When a company uses the app, we collect only what the app needs to work:
- Account details: name, work email, a hashed password, your role, and the company's name, trade and location.
- Job-site photos and the measurements you mark on them, plus any notes and drawings (DXF or model files) you upload.
- Security records: sign-in attempts and an activity log of changes in your company's workspace.
Only people in your company's workspace can see its photos, drawings and notes. Treat photos as your client's confidential property: point the camera at the work, not at people.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- The app is hosted by Vercel and its database by Neon, both in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and Neon encrypts the database at rest.
- When you run Snap & Explain, the photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be analysed. We do not use your photos or drawings to train AI models.
- If your company connects Autodesk, drawings you upload to the model viewer are stored and converted by Autodesk Platform Services.
How long we keep it
Photos, drawings and notes are kept until someone in your company deletes them in the app. When a person leaves, the company admin can remove their access at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. Until our public contact address is published, ask your company's admin to contact us.
We don't send marketing email. If we ever do, it will only be to people who opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
